The "Doctoral Program in Microbial Genomics" focuses on the following areas: microbial genomics, microbial genetics, biodiversity and evolution, environmental microbiology, microbial pathology, and metabolic engineering. The focus of future development is to promote the integration of basic research and applied science, to develop new research directions in life sciences, and to promote the development of agricultural biotechnology and biomedical industries.
