
The Department of Communication and Technology is the only department of its kind in Taiwan. Our mission is to cultivate outstanding innovators and leaders in the communication industry. We recruit outstanding faculty members and provide advanced teaching and research facilities. The curriculum design of our master’s program is different from other master’s programs in communication in Taiwan. We emphasize efficient specialty learning so that students can cultivate solid research ability and professional skills within two years of study. Quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods are the only compulsory courses, and the rest are elective courses. The elective courses are in line with the department’s characteristics and communication technology trends, with the establishment of two specialized course clusters of “Interactive Marketing and Design” and “Popular Culture and Technology”.
