Launched in 2008, the Global MBA (GMBA) program offers a dynamic, English-based curriculum for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Characterized by its diverse cohort, with international students comprising about 45% to 50% of the class, the GMBA program is dedicated to fostering innovation in business and building strong connections between technology and business as well as between Taiwan and the global business community. This two-year program is designed for individuals aspiring to elevate their careers through an entrepreneurial lens. Benefiting from its strategic location next to the Hsinchu Science Park, a major hub in the global semiconductor industry, the program enjoys close ties with leading technology companies, offering students unique industry insights and opportunities. The program emphasizes a personalized learning environment, with an exclusive class size limited to 18 domestic and 15-20 international students. This approach ensures intensive group interactions, fostering a network of lasting friendships and professional connections across global organizations and top business leaders. To date, the GMBA program boasts an impressive network of approximately 420 alumni, who have extended their influence to over 47 countries worldwide. This global network highlights the program's success in nurturing leaders who are well-equipped to thrive in the interconnected world of modern business.
his program requires a minimum of 47 credits for graduation including: • Required courses (32 credits) o Fundamental courses (15 credits): Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Global Business Management, Financial Management and Investment, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. o Core courses (15 credits): Data Science and Decision Support, Global IP Management and Business Laws, Business Development for Start-ups, Pioneering Innovation and Management in the Tech Industry, and Business Launchpad: Planning and Managing Strategies. o Thesis (2 credits) • Elective courses (15 credits) o Five courses in any professional field you are interested in o Specialization: A Global MBA (GMBA) director’s certificate will be awarded if students take three elective courses (9 credits, graduate level) and their application is approved by the Global MBA committee. The available fields are: Strategy/ Human Resource Management/ Marketing/ Finance/ Supply Chain & Logistics Management/ Technology Management/ IP Management/ Data Science Our alumni are currently working in 5 industries including 30% in manufacturing, 20% in information technology, 15% in livelihood services, 15% in business service, and 10% in culture, education and communication.
